Gering Public Library Foundation was organized on January 15, 2019. The Foundation considered the library’s role in the community, including options for future services, amenities, funding, and locations.

The Foundation is working to designate a site and plan for a new public library facility. We strive to cooperate and collaborate with the City of Gering to develop a dynamic library system that not only serves but also supports, nurtures, and builds a sense of community in Gering, NE.
